Including the Legendary Giaguaro Panther, there are 16 Legendary Animals scattered across the world in Red Dead Redemption 2. This guide show you the location of the Legendary Giaguaro Panther and how to kill it (because it isn't easy). Legendary Giaguaro Panther This panther won't appear until you have achieved the ninth rank of the Master Hunter Challenge, and it's easily the most difficult hunt on the list. It's located southeast of Rhodes, directly east of Braithwaite Manor and south of Bolger Blade. The maps above will show you where to go. When you get there, but before you start looking for clues, we strongly suggest making a manual save. The Legendary Giaguaro Panther will sneak up on you and likely kill you. When you return, you'll receive a message that says: You have entered Legendary Animal Territory, but it will be some time before the animal returns to the area. You can either wait it out in-game (and it could take days), or you can make a camp, sleep as long as you can, save manually, exit Red Dead Redemption 2 and reload.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Legendary Animals are powerful versions of the various species that inhabit the game's vast open world. Finding Legendary Animals in RDR2 is difficult but not if you are following location markers on the map, with tips to kill them and that is what you get in this guide! Legendary animals are hard to find and are, in most cases, extremely dangerous. They tend to have more health, inflict more damage, be larger and faster, and be more aggressive. Hunting down Legendary Animals is challenging because of this, and because they are dispersed far apart. However, going after them is well worth the effort as it can unlock unique rewards that can be used to craft valuable upgrades and items. When you enter a Legendary Animal's territory, the game will notify you of this fact and the map will be updated. You will then need to use Eagle Eye to scan for clues and uncover a trail. The trail will eventually lead you to the Legendary Animal. Legendary animals are powerful, so you will need to be well prepared to face them.
Legendary Moose Legendary moose is located in the northeastern part of the map. The name of the area is Roanoke Ridge in the New Hanover region. The spot for the moose is nearby the shore of Roanoke Valley. Use Deadeye to aim for the heart and neck to make quick work of it. Legendary Pronghorn To the east of Fort Mercer, you will find Rio Del Robo Rock where you also find the legendary panther. This area lies in the southwestern region of Blackwater. Legendary Bighorn Ram The Bighorn Ram can be found near the Cattail Pond in Ambarino, west of the town of Valentine. Legendary Tatanka Bison Legendary Tatanka Bison is located in the southern part of the make. It is just southwest of MacFarlane's Ranch in an area called the Hennigan's Stead. In the late game, head southwest from Stillwater Creek in Blackwater to reach the above-mentioned area. Legendary White Bison You will find the legendary white bison near Lake Isabella at the west ends of the Grizzlies in the Ambarino region of the game.
Location of the Legendary Boar The Legendary Boar can be found in the region known as New Hanover, on the south side, in the area called Bluewater Marsh, on the east side of the Kamassa River. Location of the Legendary Buck The Legendary Buck can be found in the region known as West Elizabeth, toward the far western side of the map. It'll be in the area called Big Valley, due west of Mount Shamm and due north of Lake Owanjila. Location of the Legendary Cougar The Legendary Cougar can be found in the New Austin region, near to the southwestern border of the in-game map, due west of Tumbleweed in Gaptooth Ridge. Location of the Legendary Coyote The Legendary Coyote can be found toward the western end of the region known as Lemoyne, just outside of Eris Field, due south of Dewberry Creek. Location of the Legendary Elk The Legendary Elk can be found in the northern region called Ambarino, just east of Fort Wallace, almost due south of the Bacchus Bridge. Location of the Legendary Fox The Legendary Fox can be found in western Lemoyne, in the area known as Scarlett.
Eagle If you're searching for a majestic eagle, then some good starting points are the Lower Montana River leading to Aurora Basin west of Tall Trees, east of Owanjila near Strawberry, or the Dakota River south of Cumberland Falls. Egret This water bird is concentrated in the area around Saint Denis, so check the banks of the Kamasa River to the west or Lagras to the north. Elk The big deer roam a number of locations around the map, including along the Little Creek River north of Big Valley, Cattail Pond to the south of Grizzlies West, and the Cumberland Forest. Fox Another animal that's pretty much everywhere on the map, if you don't stumble upon a fox as you explore then the areas to the west or south of Strawberry should see you right. Gila Monster These frightening lizards are isolated to the New Austin region, so look around the area between Benedict Pass and Lake Don Julio, or north of Armadillo towards Twin Rocks. Goat The goat is another animal you can find in livestock situations, so pay a visit to Emerald Ranch in New Hanover, the area north of Van Horn Trading Post, or look around the north end of Saint Denis.
